BBAW Reading Meme

This week I am participating in Book Blogger Appreciation Week.  Today's post is the BBAW Reading Meme.
We encourage you to be creative with this!  Please choose one or two questions to answer or try to answer all the questions in five words or less.  Or choose a picture to answer a question!  Brevity is the goal of today!

  • Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?

  • How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears?

  • Fiction, Non-fiction, or both? Fiction
  • Hard copy or audiobooks? both

  • If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away?

  • What are you currently reading?

  • What is the last book you bought? Ash Melinda Lo

  • Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read?

  • Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over?

  • How do you organize your books? like this

  1. I like this picture idea. I didn't have enough patience for that myself but I love seeing everyone else's interpretations and answers.

  4. Thanks ya'll! I took them with my cell phone which is why they look dark, but I thought it would be fun this way.

  8. I love the picture responses! What a great idea.

I found a copy of Alice in Wonderland at the used bookstore last summer for only 50 cents and read it. I really enjoyed it and was quite surprised to find that the Disney version tracked the original pretty closely. In high school, we had to memorize Jabberwocky ("Twas brillig and the slithey toves...") so it was fun to see where it came from.
