I had barely made it into my bed before the sun rose, and I was tired - bone tired, as Amma would say. Now I was waiting for Link on the corner.
p. 176 ARC
I know we are suppose to do a random quote, but I picked this for a specific reason. One day I was really tired and I said that I was bone tired. My husband claimed that "bone tired" was not actually an expression and I had made it up. But I said that it was because sometimes you are tired to the bone and therefore you are bone tired. Anyway, when I saw it in this book I ran to find him and read it to him. So there! HA!
Sounds like an interesting book - love the teaser :)

ReplyDeleteThat's such a good phrase, too. You can just feel how tired s/he is.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I love it when that happens. Although I'm usually the one getting told (seriously, should "satisfiable" be a word?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog earlier!
I'm really looking forward to reading this book. Of course there is a "Bone tired", just like there is a "Dog tired". I don't know why but there just is heh.
ReplyDeleteGood tease. I especially like the back story about bone tired.

ReplyDeleteGreat teaser! I can sympathize with 'bone tired' some days! And of course it's a legitimate saying...glad you found some proof to back you up. :) I love that one of the characters is named Link! I have a younger brother named Lincoln, and I think it's one of the best names ever.
